I am a 30 something year old Christian woman who is just now finding out what she wants to be when she grows up. Born a Tennessean, Kentucky was my home for all of my childhood. I feel very blessed to have grown up there surrounded by a wonderful family and the best friends a girl could ever have.
I attended Eastern Kentucky University, pledged Alpha Gamma Delta and majored in psychology/criminology. After leaving EKU, I met my husband on a blind date and we’ve been madly in love ever since. We married five days after getting engaged. We made Tennessee our home just a few months later. Currently, we reside in Arlington, TN which is just northeast of Memphis. We’ve been blessed with a son, Keegan Patrick, who is almost 6 years old and a daughter, Presley Colleen, who is almost 3 years old. We’ve been happily married for almost 9 years. I would describe our life as an earlier heaven.
A few fun facts about me…. I’m an Elvis Presley fan and have been since the tender age of four. I love all things history. Coffee is a daily requirement. I love to cook, scrapbook, quilt/sew and read a good book.
My passion for photography started about the time my interest in scrapbooking blossomed. You have to have pictures to scrapbook, right?! However, I don’t think I became officially obsessed with photography until the birth of my son almost 6 years ago. Taking pictures of my baby boy became a new passion. Then I received my first DSLR camera for Mother’s Day in 2009 and have had it in my hand every single day since.
Photographing my children led to photographing other families. I feel very blessed to be able to capture genuine moments in time with my camera or shine a different perspective on elements of nature. I hope you’ll allow me to capture yours. Blessings!
