iPhoneography

Happy weekend, y’all!  Gotta say, while I love that my little guy is just over the moon about kindergarten, I am very happy the weekend is upon us.  Waking up before the sun and hitting the ground running is not agreeing with me at all.  Unfortunately, the coffee addiction has somewhat kicked back in.  While I’m not having a cup every morning, I am finding myself longing for it as soon as I hear the alarm go off.  And some mornings I just cave.  Can’t help it.  But you didn’t come here to read about my struggle with early mornings.  So let’s get on with the show!  Just a couple of reminders….

1.  You do NOT have to have an iPhone to participate.  Any camera phone will do  - or iPod touch, in some cases.

2.  Please link back to Perfect Imperfections within in your post somehow so others know where to go to join the fun.

That’s it!  Easy peasy.  I do have a new app to share with you but first, I couldn’t resist sharing a little of our week with you.  The collage was done in PicFrame, watermark in Impression and most editing in Instagram, I believe.

Okay, I lied.  Top left was processed using Paper Camera.  And the bottom two have no filter.  God gave us some AMAZING views this week.  Top right, Presley is learning about the letter ‘A’ this week.  She is thrilled to have my undivided attention but she is just eating up all the activities as well.  And I can’t get over how much her little brain is taking in.  incredible.

These early school mornings are taking a toll on Presley as well.  Looks like my non-napping girl has snuck in a few cat naps this week.  The top right…. so I had put Presley to bed and apparently she snuck out of her room and was too tired to make it back.  I go to put Keegan to bed and find her fast asleep in the living room floor – the cold hardwood floor.  Goofy child.  And lastly, one more gorgeous sky that I couldn’t resist sharing.

Okay, here is a new app that I stumbled across while looking around in the app store – Pixlromatic.  The best part is that it’s totally FREE.  And I have to say… for a free app it’s pretty sweet.  You can change the type of film you use, apply filters, and even apply frames.  It does give you the option to save it to your photo library or Facebook – hoping they add some other sharing options later.  I saved a few different options to show you some of the cool things you can do with it.  First, we’ll start with the original photo…..

When I snapped this of my pretty little cone flower, I didn’t realize there was a little twig resting on it’s petals until I began playing with it.  Oh well.  Here are a just 4 of the many options within this app:

Pretty groovy stuff, right?!  I think you’ll really enjoy this FREE little app.  Download it and have some fun!

Alright, show me whatcha got!  Don’t forget to check out these other fun phone pic link ups!

WOW- I am still shocked that you are taking these with your iPhone. Those flower shots are so pretty.

I love that little Presley is so tuckered out that she’s falling asleep everywhere it seems. I thought it would be Keegan that would be that way with school being so long- but I guess it’s really effecting her too. I love sleeping little ones- too adorable.

You changed your color scheme again! (I might be late in noticing this, still catching up on blog reading from last week.) I love the lavender shade. It goes nicely with the gold.

Thanks for the free app recommendation! You know me, always looking to save some pennies. ;)
