iPhoneography

Happy Friday, y’all!  This was a super long week for us but good things are happening – gonna keep them to myself a while longer but hoping to share very soon.  Just keep us in your prayers, if you don’t mind.  But God is hard at work in our lives, lining up things for our relocation back to Nashville and it’s more than apparent to us.  Just hoping it all sticks.  If not, we know God has something better in store for us.  Just keeping the faith.  I hope you’ve all had a great week and have big things planned for your weekend.  I took several pics this past week but before we get to those, just some friendly reminders…..

1.  You do NOT have to have an iPhone to participate.  Any camera phone will do.

2.  You do NOT have to have a blog to participate.  Link up a URL to your Instagram stream (Webstagram, Statigram, etc.) or your Flickr pics…. you get the idea.

3.  Please link back to Perfect Imperfections somewhere within your post so others know where to go to join in the fun.

So if you follow me on Instagram (@ccnoffi) then you’ve probably noticed that I got some good play time in with my little iPhone lenses – well, the macro lens which you should know would be my favorite of the three.  I had a BLAST with this little lens and am so very impressed with it.  So here are those pics as well as the others I’ve snapped along the way….

Morning pretties.  Blueberry coffee.  MY FAV – dandelion macro.  Afternoon rain & sun.

Some of my BFFs.  With the birthday girl.  Sunset.  Pajama pants day!

Friday night indulgence.

Fun w/the macro lens for iPhone – afternoon rain.  LOVE!

New book I started this week.

This kid has the GREATEST laugh.

Sunset – it’s a God thing.  Amazing.

Cold Saturday morning soccer game.  Sunset over the MS River.  Downtown Memphis at sunset.

I’ve been busy this week snapping some pics!  What have you all been up to?  I can’t wait to see.  So link ‘em up!  Have a FAB weekend!

So I think we MAY have talked about this before… that I lived in Memphis until a little over a year ago?

If you turn slightly to the right in the next to last picture you see our old loft. CRAZY to look at an iPhone picture and know exactly where you are… We lived in Paperworks and I walked the dog down Huling, in front of Spaghetti Warehouse to the park every day. This makes me miss being there…sort of. Now I’m going to look back at my blog at all the photos I took of that same view! =(
There’s a homeless guy that sleeps in that bay in the botton right of your photo! HA!

Oh, I bet that was weird! I do remember us chatting about you living here before. We are about to move back to Nashville. Those pics were taken from some friends’ apartment. We were invited to a birthday party there. Glad I could give u a touch of nostalgia. :) Hope your weekend was great!

I haven’t read that particular book from Nicholas Sparks yet. What’s the theme of that book? I watched one of his interviews and he seems to rotate the ending of his books from tragic to happy endings. I hope you were able to relax over the weekend.

It’s pretty much a love story with struggles along the way. It took me a bit to get into it and then it started flowing fairly easily for me. I was just told, though that there is a book before this one. :/ I had no idea this was a sequel. Bummer.
