Anytime I visited a blog with gorgeous pictures, I always wanted to know what kind of camera the author was shooting with, even though great pictures are not entirely about the camera. Still, I love it when they have a link or a page with all their camera equipment. I often get asked the same so I decided it was time to create a page of my own to share my equipment with all of you.
First up is my actual camera bag. The one and only Epiphanie bag – Clover. This is the exact one I have, color and all. And I. LOVE. IT. It was worth every penny.
Inside my fabulous bag you’ll find my Canon Rebel T1i EOS 500 which came with an 18-55mm lens. I learn something new about this baby every day from awesome fellow bloggers. It’s truly been a great camera for me – my first DSLR.
Next, is my Canon 50mm 1:1.8 lens. GREAT, inexpensive portrait lens. Almost a must have, in my opinion.
My Canon 75-300mm zoom lens. This was a gift from my husband who knows nothing about photography or camera equipment. ;) But kudos to him for trying. The only thing I don’t like about this lens is that it does not have IS (image stabilization) so you almost need a tripod to get extremely clear shots – or very steady hands. Still, it’s a great zoom lens.
Also inside my bag is my external flash, the Canon Speedlite. This is a new piece for me and I’m still learning the ins and outs of it. But so far, it’s awesome!
For this flash, I recently purchased an Opteka SB-1 Mini Universal Studio Soft Box Flash Diffuser. Again, pretty new addition so I haven’t played around too much with it just yet.
Another new piece of equipment I’ve added to my collection is the Raynox DCR-250 Super MacroScan Conversion Lens. I’m told it’s the next best thing to having a macro lens for a fraction of the price. I have to admit, for the price it is impressive.
This I love -Canon RC-6 Wireless Remote Controller. Doesn’t seem like that big of a deal when you first think about it. I mean, most cameras have a timer these days. But there is something about this little remote that makes me feel like I’m in complete control of my shots. Wonderful when taking self-portraits.
And lastly, my Canon Powershot XS110 IS. This is the camera that stays in my purse and goes everywhere with me no matter what – especially when you don’t want to pack the big camera and all the lenses around. This little camera packs a big punch with lots of auto settings and manual settings. I highly recommend this camera for a great point & shoot option. Many of my shots – especially macro – have been captured with this camera.

Finally, I use Photoshop CS4 and Photoshop Elements 8 for all of my photo editing.
The only thing not pictured here is my tripod, but who hasn’t seen one of those? ;) Nothing terribly interesting about it – just your standard tripod.
