Keegan has not felt well the last couple of days, though he seems to be on the up and up but this week just seemed to be jam packed with “stuff”. Glad it’s about over. Time for Macro Friday. I was trying to get a couple of close shots of my kids and their amazing eyelashes when I quickly turned the camera on myself in a sudden flutter of inspiration. And then I got even more inspired with the editing. This is what I ended up with…
I started to reduce all those lines and wrinkles forming around my 30-something year old eye, but then that really wouldn’t be me, would it? If you look closely, you can see my reflection as well as my backyard.

Okay. Let me first say that I generally dislike selective color shots. Deeply dislike.
This one, however is perfection! I adore that you did not “edit out the 30 something wrinkles”, and that you can see not only your own reflection, but the amazing detail of your iris. There is nothing worse to me than over-edited skin. This shot is a definite winner!
